E-cigarettes can mimic the draw and sensation of smoking a cigarette. They are becoming increasingly popular among those who want to quit smoking cigarettes. They are often button-triggered or draw-activated for easy use. No fire, no ash, and no bad smell.

In daily life, there are some occasions that restrict the use of e-cigs. Thus, we need to know how to use it appropriately, especially in public vehicles.

1.Airplane

Whether you can bring e-cigs on a plane depends on the relevant regulations and local laws. But it is worth noting that e-cigarette can not be checked in with luggage as it is a battery-powered product. In general, they can only be carried in the aircraft cabin (in carry-on baggage or on your person). Additionally, you’re prohibited to use the vape on the aircraft, nor charge it.

2.Train

Traveling by train is a little easier for vapers because they won’t have to go through the same security checks as is the case for air travel. Vape is allowed to carry around with you or in the luggage. But similarly, vaping is prohibited to vape in carriages because it will trigger the smoke detector to set off an alarm. Besides, you can’t vape in a train station or platform. You can only vape in the smoking room.

3.Bus

Many people perhaps think vape is allowed while waiting for the bus at the platform as it’s an open space. But in fact, vaping is not acceptable in crowded places. Seeing someone vaping on the platform doesn’t mean this behavior is correct, is just because they have weak public health awareness. In the bus, of course, vaping is also prohibited.

4. Cruise

For vapers looking to take a cruise, most cruise liners have designated areas where you can be allowed to vape. These areas can be either indoors or outdoors depending on the ship. For instance, Costa Cruises allow vaping in areas such as cabins and bars, and P&O Cruises allow you to use e-cigarettes inside your cabin and balcony. What’s more, vaping regulations tend to vary depending on the company you are traveling with. Therefore, make sure to do lots of research before you set sail to find the right holiday experience for you.

5.Home & Office

If you live alone, you can use it at home. But if there are minors, pregnant women, or patients with respiratory diseases at home, please do not vape in front of them. When it comes to office, if it is expressly prohibited in the office, please vape where it’s appropriate.

Conclusion

If you want to travel with your vape, you have to figure out the relevant regulation and local laws before packing your bags and then take enough e-juice to last your entire trip. Otherwise, you may face a hefty fine or a law-breaking.

If you are at home, you can vape when you want. That seems unrestricted. But please remember that don’t vape in the presence of pregnant women, the minors and people with respiratory disease.
