If you are new to vaping or you just want a quick refresher, it might seem like there’s a lot to learn. A quick guideline of vaping dos and don’ts is here. With this, you could enjoy a better vaping experience to the great extent possible.
Dos
Keep Your Vape Device Clean
Keep your vape device clean. The residue in your tank can affect the flavor and quality of the e-juices. Thus, you need to clean your tank when you want to change another flavor of e-juice. You should completely clean it after emptying it and submerging it in warm water to wash. Additionally, it is necessary to clean the mouthpiece every day, as well as the battery area of your vape device, to keep it clean and sanitary.
Do Properly Store Your E-juice
E-juices have a relatively long shelf life when they are stored correctly. Just like food, e-juice is also perishable, and you should know how to properly store them to keep its flavor fresh. You should avoid exposing the e-juice to sunlight and air, or leaving it in hot ares. The best place to store your vape juice is in a dark and cool place after sealed well.
Do Wait for a While after Filling Again
One of the biggest mistakes a beginner should take careful is that do not inhale at once after filling. Your wicks need to get saturated and then you can start to take puffs. Otherwise, you may experience a dry hit, and it can get a burnt coil. In general, 5mins to 10mins are enough before your new inhalation, but you can wait longer.
Clean or Change the Coils
If you ever pull on a burnt coil, you’ll taste it. That nasty taste will overpower any vape juice flavor you have got in your device. If you prefer sweet flavors, please remember that sugary flavors can gunk coils up quickly.
Avoid Don’ts
Don’t Charge Your Device Overnight
When you mishandle the device’s batteries, potential vaping dangers may happen. One of the worst things is overcharge the battery. If your device has poor quality, this can kill the battery, or even cause it to explode, catch on fire.
Many vape devices come with overcharge protection, but you can’t completely rely on this. Overcharging can cause even this protection to fail. You’d better charge the device or the batteries only when you are awake and alert. Make sure you stay close when charging. Once the battery is fully charged, you need to unplug it.
Don't Vape Without Permission
Always ask for the permission from the house owner before you vape. Even if you are vaping 0% nicotine, people still don't like their places being clouded up by vapor. You’d better politely ask people around you if it is okay to vape. And please remember not to vape in public places, such as library, carriage, etc.
Don't Forget to Hydrate
If you vape often, you may experience your mouth getting dry. When you are hydrated, you are less likely to experience a vaper's tongue.
Vaping can be dehydrating as PG(Propylene Glycol) is one of the main ingredients of a vape juice. It easily absorbs water molecules that can deprive the water your body needed. That's why you need to drink more water than you usually.
Don't wait until you get thirsty or even dehydrated before you drink water. Vaping dehydration is common amongst beginners. Over time you will remember to stay hydrated while you take puffs.
